OK... sorry so late, but I was unable to watch, but looking at the box score it appeared that the Sabres were VERY undisciplined. Sooo many penalties. Was it legit, or bad calls?

Scott needs to play more however Lindy does not agree.

2 penalties that the league wants to focus on were called. Interference and embellishment, both on the Sabres. They were the kind of penalties that won't get called in the playoffs.

Mike Kostka made the Maple Leafs....

Anyone remember him?? He was a Sabres prospect with Portland. I think he was solid and possibly blew his knee out. He is 27 now and made the Leafs. Good story for a former Sabres draft pick.

tripping got called yesterday more than I've seen recently... it was the first game of the year... everyone seems to be getting a lot of penalties.

I saw him out there jawing and throwing some body around... after one whistle in the 2nd period I think it was.. a guy actually shoved him back but that was the end of it.

Actually he was a undrafted free agent. I just did the research. Sabres groomed him for about 3 years before they let him go.

Yup... seeing Ott get called for "diving" was a surprise to me... I don't think I have seen many games with 3 Goalie Interferences in it in a long time..

Biggest complaint from Blackhawks and Rags fans. He's a destroyer ('89 bait) and everyone knows it. Guys won't drop gloves with him, and he can't catch them to force the issue. As long as he isn't in the lineup for every game I'm ok with it.

Second game on back to backs make me worrisome.. but they are barely "traveling" for this game so that makes me feel better... and they get a full 24 hours between games helps..
