Hartnell ran your captain, bumped Miller pretty good with help from Myers and blasted other guys. Scott can't fight with his ass glued to the bench. Guys like Mike Rupp are the new useful heavyweights.

You can't have guys like Stafford sitting out 5 min at a time in a chippy game.You Still have to try to win. See BOS NYR, Callahan took a shot, so 2 4th liners on each team fought. Last thing we need is Stafford or Pommer getting hurt because they were "willing to go".

That's the problem to many people are ok with what has happen here in the last 15 or so years. People say "we can't trade him" or "no this guy needs to play" etc. etc. and after all is said and done, this team still has no cup. So all these "great' players everyone thinks we have, we don't and w ehave no cup either.

Why do you think he is in Rochester. Watching the Scrimmage and some of the practices, it was obvious he should be one of the top 12 forwards on this team.

i dont mind the sabres rolling 3 1/2 lines and having scott on the bench as a deterent. atleast till we have to make a tough decision.
