The funniest is those little wooden sardine cans on Bering Sea Gold getting more gold then the hundreds of thousands of dollars the Hoffman crew spends on their equipment.
Again, because I know a little about this is why I watch, all the breakdowns are extraordinarily high, it is how the network adds drama, nothing is a true reality show but it is authentic on how they mine the gold, the steps that is. - LeafMan
I liked how Storage Wars estimates were so ludicrously high on extremely average things.
"Beat to hell wall unit...thats worth about $800."
I miss Brandis tits though. |

Good, the actual presenters are pretty lame. The guys they get are fairly scary, like that apache guy, he was (frank)ing fast Had like 25 stabs in 3 seconds. - AdamFrench
God no, not the host or whatever they are, the actual guys representing the warrios. |

Yeah, it is amazing that people leave a lot of cash in a safe in storage or 8000 dollar paintings or Lithographs, bunch of BS, like most shows, it is a time waster if you have nothing else to do. |

I can confirm the legitimacy of Ice Pilots: NWT though. I actually worked for Buffalo Airways for a couple of years. |

Gotta love that they keep trying.
I did enjoy that Atlantis was actually an alien space station resting on the sea which is the reason for all the tales of its amazingness and why it disappeared. Or that the Hindu deities were all just ancient aliens...aka those guys took acid then read Roger Zelazny's The Lord of Light.

I watch it, I find myself watching AMC, Discovery, A&E, OLN and the History channel more than the main networks. |

You know what is the sad part, the stuff on those channels is actually funnier than the comedies on the main networks, seriously, how the hell is Two Broke Girl, HIMYM (crap since season 2) Mike & Molly and a host of others on the air? Do they think a laugh track will make us laugh along with it? |

The pilots so, but man do the greenhorns pay their dues. They get ridden without mercy and if they beak off prettybmuch guarantee theyll never see a co-pilot seat.
I worked in Hay River during fire season and when the bombers came in those guys were absolutely exhausted. No socialising. Straight to bed and then fly runs all day the next day. The kicker was they made so much cash in 3 months that they could take the rest of the year off.
The show doesnt show the times where Joe (the owner) would show up with a beat up face because some miner caught him banging his wife while he was away. or the time when he got raped in Alberta court because he paint stripped airplanes on the tarmac in Red Deer airport and just washed everything, old lead based paint AND industrial paint stripper, straight down the drain. Quite the character. I thought he was some random farmer first time I met him. |

Not the smartest thing to admit to illegal downloading movies here, quite a few Cops from both sides of the border are on here that I know of. - LeafMan
I don't see them forcing hockeybuzz to give up IP addresses of users because a couple of guys are talking about illegal movies.
And one of the nice things about usenet- it's secure. Can't track the downloads. |

You can on usenet even if you are using SSL, you wouldn't believe the technology that the feds have to track you down, you think that your usenet carrier is not giving out IP's, but Easynews, giganews, astraweb , uncenorednews etc... have all given up posters on usenet.
edit: I also know of Rogers and Bell giving up downloaders, they also went to download limit rates because of the excessive downloading of posters they gave up to authorities. |

We also couldn't build a pyramid these days right?
Well, we couldn't because we don't have slaves and nobody would accept money to carry stones and such. |
