Same here in my home, except we have the basic package for the kid.

We dont have a home phone though, just use our cell phones. We saw no point in paying extra for a phone that would be used primarily by telemarketers. Those female genitalias.

yup, exactly, i have my tower hooked directly into my plasma and a wireless mouse and keyboard.. way more freedom when it comes to watching tv.

usually leavstv online has an option toi purchase the games.. covers everything but cbc (free stream anyways) and the odd tsn game (maybe 2 or 3 per year)

but i was afraid that now that rogers and bell own MLSE they may not offer it.. which would be stupid.. because there are many nights i cant sit in front of a tv.. so my laptop is the way to go.. they are basically throwing away easy money

When you stream to your plasma, what's the definition like?

I bought an indoor HD antenna from FutureShop for about $50, and you can get CBC, CTV, City, Global, TVO and two CFMT channels crystal clear.

If it wasn't for Leafs games, I'd probably buy an outdoor HD antenna and send a nice letter to Rogers thanking them for their service for the past 20 years.

its great, keep in mind i did have to upgrade my video card.. had a GT8800 in there before and well.. flat out burned it out.. it was also choppy when it worked.

Ao i went and spent 700$ a couple years back and got the GTX580, a card thats actually capable of 3D if I had a 3D tv. this thing is fast.. I can run high def at 1080p no problem. Basically, i can run the best any site has to offer.

Leaf games through leavstv are very good.. a step shy of pure high def.. but not that big a step. it runs at 1600kbps and its minimum requirement for a monitor is 1024 x 768 Super VGA

honestly, i wasnt sold until I upgraded the vid card, now, the difference is so slight i dont even notice it.
