Well, when douchebags in our media are constantly down on them, it gets tiring. But I agree, Toronto is a great city. Hard to not love it.

precisely.. would have a hard time convincing Kessel to stay if you let every other vet with talent walk.

or worse, trade them out.

Kessel will not stay for another full bore rebuild where he plays with a bunch of hacks and kids.

besides its moot. Lupul is signed and here to stay.. no amount of complaining or whining is going to change that, so, accept it and move on.

if we get that legit #1 C or kadri magically makes it happen, what do you do with bozak? if he could play winger, he'd be decent third line winger with ability to win the draw for PK as well...just a thought.

Gentlemen....

rivalry.... restart.

Is the consensus that Lupol's extension was too much money or that it is a good deal to keep him around?

- MillerTime3011

Doesn't seem to be a majority here. Some like it, others don't.

Yeah like that is going to happen, people here are still harping on a trade from 2009. Move on? Dare to dream. haha

Its a big city. Concrete away. Lots of lush green space a short drive down one of the highways.

So hard to call without knowing what these teams are all about. Something tells me its going to be a 5-3 Leafs win. Or a 5-1 Sabres win. It all depends if Miller is starting.

Their other goalie is pretty good to though.

If the leafs can take away the middle of the ice and not get caught standing still they'll be ok. Buffalo beat Philly with speed. They got a couple pp goals and a couple goals off the rush. I think our guys are quicker than Philly's for he most part, its a matter of them not getting caught.

Was LM around. Could he tell who it was?
- bixll

LM had better things to do last night, although I saw some insults from this blog reported when I checked in briefly this morning.

Compared to other big cities, it's pretty good in all regards. Very green(again, for a big city), slower pace than the big American cities, and once you're downtown, you can walk anywhere in half an hour, or jump on the subway and be where you need to be fairly quick.

Not Miller good though.

Sabres are a lot bigger and quicker than the Habs. Its not going to be easy, then again, neither will most of the teams we play.

bozak is just fine where he is.

all a number one centre does is create the need to shift lupul off of that line.

unless you happen to get a number one centre who is strong on defense and knows to back off while lupul and kessel take chances.

unless a sure fire guy becomes available for the right price.. just leave it as is. because the fact is, not one of us know how anyone of these guys are going to react to playing in a tighter defensive system

i agree bozie is fine, i just mean his contract is up, what do we do if our #1 comes into play (say we got getzlaf)..do you move bozak out, or do you try to find him a roster spot?
