Don't worry I can be repetitive too I have worked with challenged adults.. teaching them.. so have had to adapt every time I see you I will ask for the stats.. to this argument.. it proved very beneficial in the classroom...

How did Grigo the freako do today?

I heard Hodgson and Ott looked great out there.

- systemtool

Freakorenko didnt do much, but at least didnt make any major mistakes either.
Hodgson looked very good so far, looks more comfortable than he did last year.
Ott is what I expected, he is going to be a fan favorite here.

Im not sure thats fair, or maybe since Reimer is the vet it is?

Reimer gets Sabres and Pens, Scrivens gets the Islanders and Habs...not evenly matched.

- systemtool

Don`t want Reimers 1st game to be Pens. And sitting him 3 in a row is not good for confidence either.

I was hoping the Leafs would land Ott. Maybe they tried? I hope they did because thats the exact type of player they needed.

I'd give it to whomever looked better today.

And I'm gusssing that is Scrivens.

I'd give it to Reimer for home opener. Show confidence. He has to play eventually, sooner the better.

EDIT: in fact I'd give him 2 in a row (wed vs PEns), then Scrivens back in on Thurs.

After that, go with who's looked best in their first 2 games.

I agree.

I know that the conventional wisdom is "win and you're in" and that you typically go with one guy until he falters, but I've got to question whether that is really the best mentality to use on two, young, developing goalies.

That seems like a great way to get into their heads and screw up their styles. "Good luck! If you (frank) up, you're toast!"

Good goalies have bad games. Not allowing a goalie to get back into the net after a stinker is a great way to torch his confidence.

For the first few games, I think you've got to go with a set schedule. Tell each guy exactly which games they'll be playing, and let them do their thing without the head games. Then you can make a decision going forward as to who will get more of the work load.

Jesus gives Reimer all the confidence he needs. He could sit 30 games and still be smiling.

I think the Leafs can beat both these teams if playing well. Edmonton still has alot of work to do with those kids eh? Im not that impressed.

Some would say two goalies had a bad game for Vancouver.. I think Carlyle's system will not only help the D but help those young goalies that were held out to dry under Wilson..

I hit the grocery store. Back watching the game.

Something wrong with this Edmonton team. Every guy has great talent, but they just aren't playing well together.

I think any team in the NHL would love him. Very unique player. Need these kind of players especially in a division with the Bruins. Riemer should start tomorrow
