average will be easily 50% play over 500 games.

Hell 2008 draft already has 13 players with 2 full seasons played. Normal developement after draft would be 1 yr jr, 1 AHL, then start NHL career, and play ever game, to get 2 full seasons since 2008.

I dont need numbers to accept common sense. Its a fact in todays NHL that draft picks and prospects hold great value because the better teams in the league are built that way. The numbers have been dug. You're upset at me because you were wrong and are taking this personal. Rick Vaive very well could have been a building block but the team around him was so thin that it was impossible.

Was there ever a time in your life when the Leafs met your high expectations for success?

They came close several times prior to the lockout that cancelled a season. And they had guys that gave Toronto a reason to believe they could pull it off. They didn't always get the right supporting cast but it's far ahead of the crap they try to feed the fans today. It would be nice if they could learn from their previous mistakes and improve upon them. But it doesn't seem to be going that way.

let me help you out.. 30 teams 3 top line guys... that is 90 currently in the NHL.. how many were first rounders.. after that you can work on the last decade..
