You, overly critical of a move the Leafs make? Now I've seen it all.

I see MacKinnon's stock dropping him out of being the #1 pick. Good for the Leafs. Since the Leafs always screw up their draft ranking by going on winning streaks after they've been eliminated, if MacKinnon drops, perhaps the Leafs will get lucky & get him much llike the Flyers were darn fortunate when they got Couturier at the 8th pick.
- GCHonda

I don't think he drops more than 1 spot.

Couts was in a tight draft field, wherea this year's top 4 is pretty cut and clear

I'd like to see the Leafs weasel a young goalie off somebody.

Dansk is worth a good look

- AngryWhiteMale

Sparks is doing just as well as all the goalies picked last season, too bad Leaf fans don't spend a little time to realize this.

It'd be pretty funny if we ended up drafting Domi this spring

That fact that half of them are poop players or the fact that I blindly contributed to the evil empire that is M.L.S.E.?

Both sickening in their own special way.

I was hoping to see him get some playing time in UFA but Gibson had that job locked down.

Yes, he's done well, and will probably be ready for the AHL next season with Owuya.

Rynnas won't be around for too much longer methinks if he can't steal the backup job with the Leafs next year

Wow, Nonis and the Leafs got hosed. $5+ million for Lupul!?
- woopstash

That's not hosed at all. If he continues to produce like last year, that's a total steal. Realistically, if he can put up 65 points or more a year, there is nothing wrong with that.

I understand what you're getting at but goalies are a crap shoot for the most part.

17.2 million cap space left for about 10 players. Komi has to be bought out of this team is going to improve themselves with that budget.

Guys like Kadri, Gunner, Franson, Bozak, Kostka, Mac,Komarov all U/RFA's.

Not going to be easy...

Yes when Ballard was alive, I use to contribute to to him always running the Leafs into the ground. I also aided him in mocking some legendary NHLer's from Bernie Parent, to Dave Keon, To Darryl Sittler, to Lanny McDonald, to Rick Vaive & so on.

Leafs will lose Kostka if they try to send him to the Marlies. Carlyle has said the guy has been amazing.

Hmm Schenn two penalties, Sabre two PP goals. Man Philly in two games have very little scoring chances or offence, you would think they'd be a lot better early.

According to Dregs, Bozak is next on the list to be resigned.

Well, there goes the whole notion of having all that cap space to revamp the line up.

I think Phaneuf is really the odd man out. we should use our buyout on him, gain 6.5 mil in cap. Drop Komi as well.

Dropping Phaneuf gives gardiner a spot on the top 2 pairing.

Dropping Komi allows a young guy like Holzer to step in.
