I reiterate my question from last year: what the (frank) took them so long to figure out that Ennis is better suited for the middle?

He does have a goal and assist
I don't feel the need to apologize for him at all

Thank god for power plays. He has been a ghost 5 on 5

Except that hit didn't look like it was from behind but rather the shoulder

Can't necessarily blame him for that. Playing a game is different than practicing.

Ott's got to change his number. #9 is still a dive target.

Exactly. It doesn't matter how he came out of that. The fact that a guy like him did that shows a lot!

Wow when do you see a dive call without a matching trip

Loved to see that from Stafford
Next time Hartnell is on the ice Lindy better put Scott out there,
That's the kind of crap we got him for
Even if Hartnell won't fight him- Scott should just start pounding away...
I'm fine with him taking the extra penalty

True, but I will say it makes me wonder how hard he was working in the offseason to stay in shape...
Even the announcers pointed it out
U shouldn't be winded that early in the game,
ESP the first game
Everyone else looks fine

I never agree with Millbury but even he just said you'd like to see some more drive out of Vanek. He always looks lackadaisical, but he somehow finds a way to get his points in.

True and I hate to keep saying it but I will, we need a number 1 Center. Myers still looks lost as does Sekera.

Myers looks pretty good defensivley, lost on offense. Do not understand why Grigo cant get any pp time.

If your gonna be a leader like Vanek is supposed to be, you have to be 1 of the guys with energy, not just on the PP

Guys with longer strides like he has never look like they are "hustling"
Grigorenko is the same way
Their talent finds a way to shine through though more often than not
Vanek undressed Bryzgalov on that goal

You can see it in his face. He almost has a chin that makes spacek proud! It's so obvious that he doesn't take fitness seriously. He'd be a Hossa type player if he actually cared to get into elite shape. His natural skills are off the chart but his attitude sucks.
