I never agree with Millbury but even he just said you'd like to see some more drive out of Vanek. He always looks lackadaisical, but he somehow finds a way to get his points in.

Myers is inconsitent today. A "number 1" center sounds good, but Ennis and Hodgson have played pretty well. Grigorenko needs to get going though. Myers,Sekera, & Leopold have played pretty shakey though.

Stafford has played well too. Ott has been an animal

Just play him. How do you evaluate a 5 game stint otherwise. All the other tryouts in the league played big minutes.

You can see it in his face. He almost has a chin that makes spacek proud! It's so obvious that he doesn't take fitness seriously. He'd be a Hossa type player if he actually cared to get into elite shape. His natural skills are off the chart but his attitude sucks.

I'm not sure about "pick it up", but "get it going" would be nice. No one is saying he is bad, just want to see some more good plays..kind of like his sick pass to Ott.

But his expecations are high because if he isn't good enough for the NHL yet at 18, which in no way is an insult he has to go back to juniors. Which we all know but high expecations need results too. He is definately going to be money though.
