5 years ago I flew back home to the motherland. Threw up as the plane was landing. Always fun when the plane is dead silent and all you hear is someone hurling.

I m thankful that I don't get air or motion sickness. My wife gets it bad.

Just watch the panic set in, if they happen to lose today.
- flyer_nutter

I'm not saying panic, but it's a short season here.. We've got Devils and Rangers this week.. don't wanna start 0-4

Amen. Hopefully they play like they did the last 40 minutes and not the first 15

I'm brutal, usually have to take a Gravol before flights. Cant ever read or watch a movie in a car.

Speaking of cars. The fiance is moving today and we rented a 17 foot U-Haul (got a deal). Largest I have ever driven is a F250.

My allergies usually are a non issue in the winter. So I grabbed some Benadryl the other day. If this don't stop by the time I'm out of Benadryl ill breakdown and have my license recorded in the government data banks.

if we had the contract space, would you have looked at redden?
- isaiah520

Sure, why not. I bet he's a better player then Foster. I don't know for sure though.

Definately a hard schedule. I was just saying I could see them losing today after having played yesterday.

There are no easy games anymore. Even teams like Toronto, or Florida can present chalenges. (frank) even the menstruation squad in Montreal could get lucky.

I just don't get it. I also don't really get the point of Fedotenko.
- Dkos

Fedetenko is a solid player. The type of player that every team needs. Can play anywhere in the lineup. Provides depth, leadership, solid defensive play. And can chip in some goals. Solid signing.

I dont know, I watched the whole game and the Flyers did not impress me nearly as much the Pens.

I think some of you are way over rating your Flyers, but I guess we will see today.

I am not sure what to expect from the Sabres. They have Miller, they have a lot of talent and they got team tough.

I think I am where many Sabres are, not sure what to expect but with Miller anything is possible.
We are all excited to watch Grigorenko today as well.

Good luck.

- BuffaloHardHat

I wasn't looking to be impressed and neither team disappointed me.

First game back, I'm not certain any team will look like they'll be firing on all cylinders for a while yet, especially more so after the extended vacation the league took. I'm betting each game will have it's choppy play and momentum swings until the player's legs, hands, and timing return.

Goaltending will be huge until everyone settles in.

Not to beat the drum again, but I'd really be pressing to trade for that #1 pick come draft time.

I didn't see where I rated the Flyers. So I don't know how I'm overrating them. After the first period, the Flyers settled in and matched the Pens, if not outplayed them. The Flyers just didn't execute and finish on the PP.

Not that different, really. Add a car trailer to the back and it gets interesting.

I think we held our own quite well with what half the experts say is the imminent 2013 Stanley cup Champion..

Happy to see Bryz start well..

When was the last time somebody traded for the #1 pick prior to the draft?

The Flyers and Mel Bridgeman?

Exactly. Better be prepared to give up a boatload to get it.
