Agreed, the two goals within 11 seconds was a little poor on Cory's part however.

I thought the fourth line played ight as well.

Who in their right mind would take a 34 year old goalie coming off of losing his starting job one year, having a bad year the year after, with a $5M cap hit, that goes into his 40s.

because if Luongo doesn't play well this year, that's the situation he'll be in, and he may very well have a hard time finding anyone that would take Luongo at all.

His age and contract length are already an issue. Add another season passed, and it only gets worse.

I think a couple of teams would take him but not for a good return. The whole thing has been handles wrong going back years now. Why name him captain? Why pull the rug out from under him and and change his GT coaches on him a cople of times...a player who is all about his routines? Why leave Luongo in net for all 8 goals in the playoffs? Why have Schneider looking over his shoulder for so long... who was publicly promised a trade over the last two year? Why time naming Cory the starter when Lu hadnt crapped the bed resulting him wanting a trade? Why say you will accomodate that trade and then start with him on the bench.......?

Total mismanagement from the beginning...
