Pretty sure no GM in any hockey league in the world would make that trade.
You don't give up a 25yr old perennial 30+ goal scorer who also is starting to average a point per game for an unproven goaltender. Those are the kind of trades that gets a GM fired.

If this was an 82 game season, you might have had a chance of recovering from last night.
But in a 48 game season, the Canucks have dug too deep a hole.
Better to just fold the franchise.
