Well, I'm a fan of JJ anyways. I think the accusations of homerism are just a bit exxagerated (but not untrue), but it really doesn't bother me either way.

I think Luke Schenn will be loved in Philly.

Obviously, a game against the Pens is a great way to start the Season off. But there are so many things that are exciting to see what happens, just with the Flyers. The addition of Luke Schenn. The continued development of Coturier and B Schenn. Getting a look at Laughton. Seeing if Giroux continues to cement his place at the top of the NHL hierarchy. How Bryzgalov plays this Season. A lot of story lines. And I'm sure that the beat writers, bloggers, and columnists have a ton of stuff, that they want to write about. It's going to be great fun. And I remember the last 48 game Season. It was great Hockey.

But scratch Iginla and Briere. They were around during the cancelled Season, in 04. But not the shortened 48 game Season back in the 90's. I think Ray Whitney may have been though.
