typical game where refs give the penguins the game

I know you're just trolling but

The Flyers had plenty of PP opportunities, they just couldn't get it done when it mattered.

Don't blame it on the refs

We're alright.

Nash should be able to help us score first more.

not to be a Richard, but i hope he screws up your team's chemistry, but your team has scoring depth, youth. d and goaltending, that's a winning formula. lost a lot of grit tho IMO

Good game outside of the first period. Too many PP opportunities to not have capitalized on any of them. Once the passing got better, everything else seemed to click a lot better.

So much better to have hockey

Seriously?

You can't blame the refs.

Can't blame anyone really. Both teams played solid games. Luck was on the Pens side tonight. A few of those near misses go in and it's a whole different game.

All in all, the Flyers looked very good tonight.

Bryz was great
Laughton impressed
Simmer was a monster (although still snakebitten in the goal department)
G was the best player on the ice
Luke Schenn fit well and made good outlet passes
Team D could have been better but was definitely doable
Rinaldo did his thing with flying colors tonight
The PP generated quality scoring chances and offensive attacks

The Flyers were the better team for 2/3rds of this game. The Pens treaded enough water to survive the onslaught.

Good game bad result. That was a bad call, but not the reason for them losing. Great to have hockey back.

Yep, entertaining little tilt to start things off. Sutter looks to be a good addition.

The level of energy dropped once the 4th line stopped playing. I really think they should have kept playing them, they created some good energy and chances.

The refs were a factor...in the Flyers favor. No way we can complain about them.

I'd like to have seen B. Schenn step up. He was a non-factor for a first line winger.

The Flyers energy dwindled somewhat coming out for the third period. Shame they couldn't carry over the momentum they built up through the second.

Nice game all. Pretty even play, but the Pens got the lead and then some puck luck. Gonna be a great season.

Early lead was important as both teams seemed to tire in the third

One sentence summary right here.

Both these teams will make deep playoff runs....unless of course we see another first round matchup which could happen

Ya know...I really didn't think he'd stay up....but if he plays like this for the next 4 games....

We DO need a 4th line center, after all.....
