It was even good to see the scalpers outside the Bell Centre working on their Hockey Related Revenue.

those guys have alot of old tickets that were issued pre lockout this year.. be wary as hell when buying something off a scalper this year.

- Dozzer

Leafs tickets will look weird this year, with a sticker on them that has the date and opponent.

Yep. Not bad.

Good beer if you need to drink after your hockey game and drive home.

- Atomic Wedgie

Thats exactly what I thought too. Its now one of my top options when buying beer, depending on my plans.

I was at a friends house a month ago, one of those health nuts, and he had Mooseheads Cracked Canoe. It was surpringly good despite its pussification. I was shocked.

Agreed. If I want zero calories though I'll choose something other than beer. Calories = taste

Very emotional.

There are 16 Leafs in tonight's lineup who are dedicating this game to the memories of their dead girlfriends, whom they never met or even talked to on the phone.

ha ha ha yeah wtf? I can't even bring myself to read that story, it's so (frank)ed. Who would've thought something would come out that's so (frank)ed it surpasses Lance Armstrong confessing on Oprah for most (frank)ed sports story. I don't even want to know these things anymore

No Ville Leino at Sabres practice. I know he's disappeared in games, but this is taking things to a new level.

Hello out there! We're on the air,
It's Hockey Night tonight;
Tension grows, the whistle blows,
And the puck goes down the ice.
The goalie jumps, and the players bump,
And the fans all go insane;
Someone roars, "Bobby scores!"
At the good old hockey game.

Oh! The good old hockey game,
Is the best game you can name;
And the best game you can name,
Is the good old Hockey game!

- jbold[spoken] "Second period...."
Where players dash with skates a-flash,
The home team trails behind;
But they grab the puck and go bursting up,
And they're down across the line.
They storm the crease like bumble bees,
They travel like a burning flame;
We see them slide the puck inside,
It's a one-one hockey game.

Oh! The good old hockey game,
Is the best game you can name;
And the best game you can name,
Is the good old Hockey game!

[spoken] "Third period! Last game in the playoffs, too!"
Oh, take me where the hockey players
Face-off down the rink;
And the Stanley Cup is all filled up,
For the champs who win the drink.
Now the final flick of a hockey stick,
And the one gigantic scream:
"The puck is in" - The home team wins
The good old hockey game!

Oh! The good old hockey game,
Is the best game you can name;
And the best game you can name,
Is the good old Hockey game!

Atta boy!!

Are you kidding me? Lupul, 5th in league scoring, until his injury, yeah he didnt work out. Phaneuf, one of the best all round defenseman in the league? Yeah, total bust. Kessel, almost 40 goals with no centre? BUST. JVR? he's 22 but I promise you he will be fan favorite by April. Give me a break dude. Whether or not you like how the Leafs are being rebuilt, you missed my point entirely. That point was that there is no such thing as a "proper" rebuild. Many teams are built in many different ways. It can easily be argued that the least effective and most time consumer as well as the riskiest way to build a team is through bottoming out and drafting in the top five for several years, which is what I assume what you mean by "proper". Much like "Trickledown Economics" the "proper rebuild" is a populist term scorned by those in the know that can easily (and I am talking like ten minutes research) be debunked.
- Aquaman_2400

Yeah, uh about your obvious 10 minutes research debunk... I think it is apparent you spent 10 minutes on this.

Lupul and Kessel, do you really think they are both top 10 players in this league, really? They played on a team with no concept of team defense.

Phaneuf, one of the best all-round defensemen in the league?? Uh, voted most overrated player by his peers.

JVR?, Dude the Flyers traded him to us for a Dman who was not even an NHL calibre Dman last year.

Got any more research?

By the way, I think Kessel is a great player... but you neglected to mention that it cost us Seguin Knight and Hamilton.

Not a proper rebuild. Think before you type next time.
