That said, Getzlaf loves it in Cali, from most reports, and would probably want to stay there. The only hope would be convincing Perry to play close to home, and praying that its something that may sway him.

With Komi its not so much about making him faster, or making him better on the puck as chances are that's not going to happen. What you have to do is get him to play smarter hockey. Get him to realise that the big hit is no good if the puck ends up on the stick of another opposition skater. To realise when to block commit to a shot block, and when to get out of the goalie's eyeline. He's never going to out play anybody, so you have to teach him to outwait them. And if, and ONLY if, the big hit is available then to not be afraid to still make it count.

he sucks. he like shakey goaltending has the ability to sap the momentum and energy completely out of his own team, with one "home run pass up the middle", a poorly timed fight (if you can call what he does fighting) or my personal favourite the stupid hooking/slashing penality.

he sucks - if the Leafs have any hope of signing premier free agents come this July 1st, this ding-a-ling must be off the roster. No self respecting goalie will want to play behind him, and my guess is his ego his huge - he wouldn't necessarily represent the welcome mat to players like Getzlaf or Perry.

the sooner he gets exposed this year AGAIN - the better.

I really hope that Kostka and Franson do well. And I'm really happy that Reily was sent back to Moose Jaw, I could just imagine what it would do for Reily's development if he had been paired with Crapsarek.

We were just talking about little mosque on the prairie and vampires shows which lead to the obvious connection of an emo/muslim fan of CBC. At no time did we mention anything about the muslim religion or that it was negative or bad.

My advice to you though, don't ever go to a Jim Jefferies or Russell Peters show.
