Exactly.

Everyone is freaking out about Frattin. But the fact is the team has to play a lot of games in a short period of time. There is going to be an injury, and Frattin will be the first one to be recalled. He will get his chance in the NHL this year.

Removing Burke was neccessary.....the amount of pressure on him to save his job and make the playoffs was intense.......he was ready to mortgage the future and that would have set the organization back another 5 years..........I liked Burke, but he had his chance and failed to make the product on the Ice better!

First of all, I highly doubt that Kostka is a first pairing. Gunnerson is 100% going to team with Phaneuf. Secondly, I don't think Steckel is making the team. He's useless. I can't see them sending Frattin down. (but I am not up to date maybe this is legit?) either way, bad move if its true.

I also don't see the Kulemin and Macarthur staying long on the second line. How long till Kadri and JVR force enough icetie that they are playing with Grabovski? If they don't start the season with him i'll give it three games minimum.

And just for the record, I was flamed like mad and called a troll this summer when I said that Macarthur, Connolly and Lombardi would never play a game for the Leafs again. Looks like 2/3 aint bad.

Those are the lineups in practice today. Kostka is right d-man, unless they move him to the right with Franson it looks like they're going to give him a look with Dion.

Frattin has officially been assigned to the Marlies. It's going to be a gritty schedule, were keeping Orr as our heavyweight with Brown as our middleweight. Steckel will timeshare in for Orr against certain teams.

I like Komarov. He's played great this year, he played with Backstrom and Ovechkin on Moscow Dynamo and he's a pest that can watch Kadri's ass a bit. He deserves the spot he's given
