Hodgson on the first line? Seems a bit lofty doesn't it? He'd be a third center on most teams

I'm really hoping Schroeder gets a legitimate chance to do something this year. Not too many people are giving him a chance because of his size, but I think his speed could make up for that. Seems like he has good vision and could be a legitimate playmaker with some goals here and there. It would be nice if one of these 1st round prospects would f'n work out a little more often.

I'm looking forward to see what Garrison will do with the Canucks.

Don't worry they're coming. Kassian, Schroeder, Jensen and Gaunce will all be core Canucks....especially Jensen

Bjugstad My ideal player for Luongo would be Carlson though. I wonder if Washington starts out with terrible goaltending if they'd be interested.

Luongo and Tanev

Carlson and Brouwer

......hopefully Green returns to form..

Looks like Ed Jovanovski is the new captain of the #FlaPanthers ... Appears Dineen just told them on the ice

He was an adventure at time, but I always liked Jovo.

In the 20 or so years I've been doing hockey pools I've won one playoff pool, once. Peter Forseberg! But every time I always think my team rocks, until the injuries start to kick in

Last year I had Hartnall, he got off to a slow start, so I dropped him for David Freaking Booth

Whaaaaa Get er done Nonis! Dallas would do it - only beacause Komi is included! In that case, the nucks should offer up Higgins, Schroeder and Ballard...I'm sure Nieuwendyk hasn't had a good laugh this week!

Ian, why is the backup starting over Luongo?

Kassian second line? Seems a bit lofty at this stage of his game.

Well I think the thought was they don't want him to possibly get injured then not be able to trade him t o philly to replace one of their two backups.

Why does Philly have a back up start every game?

I like your originality.

But really, if you want to move Luongo, would it be beneficial to "showcase" him? I don't think moving a guy who hasn't played much would get you as much of a return as a guy who's playing regularly. Also, as much as I know Schneider deserves the Vezina right now, I think that Luongo will outperform him if they both get decent playing time on Vancouver.

Really hope Jordan makes it. I just want some new blood to be excited about.
Would be fun to see how our (hopefully) youth line matches up against the young guns in Edm.

Not saying J.S is a future star, but it would make for some interesting match ups.

Watch Av cut him in the next few hours

I shouldn't think that Luongo needs to get "showcased" at this point of his career.

Good luck with Bryz.

Maybe "showcase" isn't the right word, but to get him a lot of action to show that he's in good form so that, if he was traded, he's not going to need adjustment time for that team?
