What did you guys think of Gillis's interview today .He can be a wiener. I think Gilman should handle the 1040 spots. He is more personable. Gillis ripping Rintoul mad him look like a bit of an ass. He is saying sorry in one hand and crusty in the other.

I like that he is waiting for the right Lu deal as long as it is a short time but he needs to lighten up IMO.

Hopefully it's what I thought it should be 6 years at 4.75 mil a season/cap hit. To me, that's fair and makes him the highest paid defenseman on the team, but not excessively so.

EDIT: 5 mil... ok, not great, but I can live with it.

Edler. Well we know we won't see him walk for nothing... I'll judge if I want him past the TDL on his salary. I would love to keep him.

Yeah decent cap hit for sure. Would have been better @ 4.75 but whats 250,000. He better start playing like our top paid defence man.
