Personally PK is my favorite player but given the issues with the team I sort of hope he stays home, teams sucks and then we get a top 3 pick. Would love to see Drouin or MacKinnon here.

Oh and Philly has apparently offered Talbot and a 1st.......which was immediately decline. I hope Philly offers a contract because it either makes the negotiations easier and done or the deal is so ridiculous that Habs steal the picks and then use them as trade bait.

Wouldn't happen - he was drafted in the QMJHL by a French team (Baie-Comeau Drakkar), he didn't speak French so he was going to bolt to the USHL unless they traded his rights. Which is why he's now playing here in wonderful Halifax. Nate would pull a Lindros so fast. Now Drouin, however..

One thing inn the QMJHL another thing in the NHL. And if he pulled a Lindros then sure sign me up. Colorado became a cup champ because of that. So sure, trade me half your team, gladly.

If Benn is really available, which I doubt, there are a few teams that need to be watched. The Flyers would have a passive interest and Holmgren is the best deal maker in the league. Montreal has some nice assets and has need of solid forwards. But, the longer it goes the guy to really keep tabs on is Bryan Murray. He has a boatload of young talent and prospects and seems to hang in better than most guys in a long bid process.

Plus the leafs are not going to do anything this year. So if they trade Gardiner to Dallas for Benn, and next year or the year after that Reily steps in. they have Benn signed long term, and still have their puck moving D-man
