Yea, Pardy has never been anything more than a 5/6th call up d-man. He's been a professional for 7 years and has only played 66 games in the past 2 years. Regehr has been a solid top 4 guy forever, he like a lot of our defense had an off year. There was no chance in hell Regehr was getting waived
- sbroads24

Regehr is one good hip check from LTIR I feel.

I guess we will see.

Gerbe skates well, plays hard...but I need more production out of him.
- Homer

Agreed, but hes not going to produce playing with guys like Kaleta, Gaustad, Hecht, etc.

I feel like he possesses too much talent to be a 3rd or 4th line player, but there are too many people ahead of him for 1st and 2nd line on this team. I think he'd do well getting 2nd line minutes on a team like the Islanders, Columbus, Phoenix, or possibly Florida.

I.D.G.A.F.

Staff, Sekera, Adam, 2nd for Bobby Ryan.

Van - Hodge-Podge - Ryan/Pommer
Foligno - Ennis - Pommer/Ryan
Otter - Gringo - Leino
Kaleta - Hecht - Scott/Gerbs (splitting games).

Myers - Regehr
Panzer Line
Leo/Brennan - Weber

Trade Leo or Brennan for whatever.

- LetsGoBuffalo75

I think they tried with Ryan and hung up when the offer from ANA was Myers.

The target now would be impending UFA Ryan Getzlaf next summer.

Make or break year from him.

Still think line 4 should be 42-55-36. Waive Ellis. If you have to waive McCormick, fine.

9-25-23 line three.

Thats the thing....if we are keeping 8d, which I was told they are and it looks like they are then we're gonna have one too many forwards.....unless they send Grig back. And that's one to many forwrads without even counting Ellis.....

They may waive Cody, they are not happy with him with his finger 'injury"

his 1.2M is an overpayment at hte moment... if he can return to his 2010 form then that is one thing..

ellis and McM should be waived.. Mcm could be IR'd?

True... I just don't see his role on this team any more unless they send Grigo back. Hecht is a better center than McM is and can score better... McM was our best fighter on the team but now with Ott and Scott.. I would say he is probably 3rd or 4th with a bad finger.

I dont think his finger is all that bad. I think we still need him perosnally. Scott isnt going to play that much and sure Ott will fight but thats not his role so to speak.

why dont we like mccormick now? we have enough goal scorers scattered throughout our lineup nothing wrong with having a pretty tough guy that can actually play a regular shift.

His attitude and last season are VERY concerning to me with regards to paying him what it will take to sign him.

His talent is without question. His motivation, however, is as of this writing.

In your plan is that Tin man before or after he's bought out?

If it is to claim him off waivers....... no (frank)ing way!

Sign him for the league vet min after he clears? Center depth in a shortened season could be key.

- dadeadhead

get him on re-entry at half price

then again it would not matter because we have the cap space

i read up on the back injury he got and it sounds painful and most likely a result of pushing back with all your might not to be bend in two. I can't see how he could come back from this injury completely healthy, it sounds painful as heck. i hope he can come back but assuming he does he's going to be most likely in pain for the rest of his career and that has got to hurt his productivity somewhat.
