Jason Arnott, Daymond Langkow, Blair Betts, Patrick O'Sullivan and Dominic Moore are all UFA centers that would cost less money and that I would rather have than getting Connelly back. |

Paul Byron on waivers. We could bring him back as well. - adambuffalo

I would rather have Sabretooth playing for the Sabres than Connolly. |

Ya, Tropp projects to be a pretty solid third liner and IMO plays a fundamentally sound game. Hoping he has a speedy recovery and is ready to go next training camp. |

Not when the Buffalo Sabres created a friggin circus flying all the way across country to court Robyn Regehr . A player Pardy in my opinion should be replacing.
Placing Regehr on waivers in place of giving the roster spot to a much more deserved Pardy would have meant the organization would have had to wear egg on their face.
Regehr is one good hip check from LTIR. I just hope Pardy clears so we have him in Rochester to replace Robyn when he inevitably hurts that hip again. - BuffaloHardHat
Regehr has a NMC. Can he be waived? |

Pardy is better than Regehr in my opinion.
Choosing Regehr over Pardy is nothing more than politics as usual.
The Sabres didnt fly across the United States to sign Pardy now did they? - BuffaloHardHat
I know its your opinion and youre entitled to it, but no he isn't.
They didnt even want Pardy in the Ott deal, Buffalo was forced to take him, ala Kotalik. |

I would love for Gringo to slowly be moved to PP and 1st line by the end of the season. |

Yea, Pardy has never been anything more than a 5/6th call up d-man. He's been a professional for 7 years and has only played 66 games in the past 2 years. Regehr has been a solid top 4 guy forever, he like a lot of our defense had an off year. There was no chance in hell Regehr was getting waived |

thoughts?
I am curious what you, gunner, homer, dd, goose and sabres89 think - homiedclown
In your plan is that Tin man before or after he's bought out?
If it is to claim him off waivers....... no (frank)ing way!
Sign him for the league vet min after he clears? Center depth in a shortened season could be key. |
