I'm pro-Redden being offered a similar deal to the one Kurtis Foster nabbed. One concern is, Redden hasn't played all year. Not sure of his conditioning or readiness to step in and play.

Couldnt hurt bringing him in. He has everything riding on this chance.

Guess we wait and see!

It's not even that. It was disrespectful.

If he was such an "insider" he would know that Pronger is never stepping on the ice in a Flyers uniform ever again. His career is finished. So, what does it matter what his thoughts are on Giroux? He already said his piece in a statement that day. You don't need to interview a guy whose not even going to be in the locker room this upcoming year.

I'm just appalled that this was even posted.

Is tim in a union? Might not be able to fire him. Maybe a raise instead?

Hey guys, remember last year when the Penguins eliminated the Flyers?

I'm sure that several teams will kick the tires. I don't see him as make or break by any stretch, just adds the possibility of a better puck mover who has experience QBing a PP

Apparently the Flyers made a little boo-boo on Lilja's cap hit. The new Threshold of $900K has absolutely nothing to do with over 35 deals....so Andreas Lilja will count as $637,500 against the Flyers cap

Maybe instead of retiring and being a "coach" Shelley could become the new capologist. They need a little help there

NBC video maker was at least three and a half years late making that promo. (We could have been wanting revenge after 2008 or 2009.)

Florida waived Mike Santorelli today. He'd be interesting on a few teams, not really a fit here, though

3rd line C, 2nd line fill-in. Never quite used properly in Florida. Hope he gets picked up by a team that has the right spot for him.

There's a few teams that could use him. Isles, Canucks, Bolts

Seems like a Canucks kinda guy; they seem to do pretty well with getting the most of of hard-working 3rd/4th liners.

The Isles are waiver claim wild this year. Picked up Keith Aucoin today.

Yeah, that's what 4 so far? Team building. Why didn't they take (frank)ing Lilja?

I'd feel better if the Flyers capologist knew more than the fans about the cap

Maybe you are just the preeminent capologist and you just don't know it.

Maybe they can bring in Powe after he retires. Not sure they can afford to wait for the Ivy Leaguer though.

Are you seeing that blue "search" type page? I saw that the other day? You may have to empty your internet cache.

The thing that gets me is, in the press release from the NHL it flat out states "No change to the Over 35 rules"

It's not like I had to go hunting down Livingstone to find this info. It was right there on page one of the release.
