Does he ever fly. Size will prevent him from getting a shot, they will put him on an AHL team, just to see if he can handle playing with men.

I was epecting more, passed were the last thought for most, and rushed at that. trying too hard, and squeezing the stick a little hard as well. Team Cherry had many great chances, but missed the net about 60% of the time.

True, but it will open an immediate spot on the team. And give him a chance to sign somewhere else and getting to play still. We could wait but that means another year a young kid has to wait when he could be ready now. Plus it's not going to hurt the leafs pockets any if they have to still pay his full salary this year, even if it goes against the cap it's not a big deal because a young guy is getting experience.

If somehow Tim Connoly got a roster spot over someone like kadri or frattin ill be super mad. They should just put tim on waivers.

Not too shabby. Now, goodbye Connolly and Komisarek and you will see one very happy Leaf fan.

Although, honestly, I would be willing to give Komi a few games to get into a defensive first role like Carlyle likes to play. It's more suited to him than offensiveness anyway. So he might not be terrible in the right role. However, his cap hit is more than ideal for a player of his ilk.

If we can at least unload Connolly either through trade or buyout that would be great.

I can see a cap-floor team needing a veteran taking a flyer on Connolly for a year, if the Leafs are again willing to retain a portion of his salary (but trade full cap value). The Isles/Blue Jackets come to mind...
