No. Deal was 60 games over 2 seasons. He played 62 games last season alone.

Not necessarily. Some facts for you. The Leafs are soft as butter and unlike the Wings don't have the skill or tenancity in skilled players (Zetterberg) to overcome this. Fact the North East loaded up on tough guys and sand paper this off season except Toronto.

Toronto will be pushed around by every team in the North East which they play many games in. Skilled guys like Kadri will be run consistently without even the slightest of consequence. If Orr can be somewhat defensively sound and skate better than he did than you're damn right I want him on the team in limited minutes. You're also damn right Carlyle would too.

rather have a skilled, far softer team that puts up the points then a "truculent" team with guys like rosehill, orr, etc. only need one of those guys to play against certain teams as they only bring one thing to the game.
