Did you not read my post? I know hammers and bats kill people too. But their sole purpose isn't to kill tons of people in rapid succession. You don't need an assault rifle for protection or any reason for that matter, besides, if someone does come at you, use a bat! (apparently they work well)

but at the end of the day, in terms of firearm related deaths per capita, the US is near the top of the list surrounded by third world countries, countries that have suffered from cartel wars, civil wars... so on and so forth. south africa has a better rate than the US?

the US around 10.2.. france the next worst first world country at 3.0.. the remainder of most notable countries between 2ish.. and 0.07

Yea me too.. I would have had a heart attack if i stayed in Ottawa any longer. Living in the Glebe and eating poutine, shawarmas, and beavertails regularly was the most unhealthy time of my life.
