LOL...I mean, wow.

Klefbom is better than Gardiner and most likely better than Rielly. He's huge and a more complete defenseman. Rielly is an offensive machine but there are many questions about his defensive play. Same could be said about Gardiner, who is Justin Schultz-lite.

And yet, you keep coming back for more.

Thanks for that.

So is this just a "look at the power I have, write something stupid and they will all respond?" Yes. As a rumour blogger on this website you carry a certain minimum of respect and authority that perhaps there is some veracity to what you took the time to post on this website that trys to refer to itself as having some internal access and knowledge that may be related to the fans of the game. With that comes a responsibility to use that ability to provide information in a responsible fashion. Otherwise you are nothing more than an anonymous writer like hockeyinsider, who was called out for his blatant irresponsibility in your own Edmonton newspaper.
I am glad you have told us several times that you are enjoying watching the sh!tshow your blog has started but your irresponsibility indicates that you are indeed nothing more than another "hockeyinsider" who posts idiocy that is given weight by your status as the Oilers blogger with absolutely nothing behind it to simply gain responses (even like this one).
You claim a source for this. Whoever it is I doubt their knowledge as well because the hockey world knows that this will not happen, and the rational responses that have been posted point out why. There are a host of reasons this will not happen. Whatever "credibility" you did have (if in fact there was any) is gone, you are nothing more than a blogger throwing something out to get responses on a slow Wednesday.
By all means, continue to enjoy. I am headed elsewhere.

Back it up. Go ahead and answer the question then. It should be easy unless you are the tard. Let's see you big brain work as hard as your mouth.

As I said earlier, I have reason to believe Weber to Edmonton this summer is completely possible. I'm not just posting a blog like this for the reaction.

No, not really. Let me think...

Seth Jones is a better prospect, but he's not drafted yet. Brandon Gormley is a prospect I think very highly of, so there's him. From what I saw of Jacob Trouba at the WJC, I might put him at the top list.

There's plenty of "big names" I'd rank lower than Klefbom as a prospect: Hamilton, Rielly, Gardiner, Murray, Brodin...

So if you include Jones in the list, there's three defensive prospects I'd rank higher than Klefbom, and in saying that, I suggest Gormley and Klefbom are about equal in quality.

- Maxbone

And stacked up against what Philly would have paid, klefbom may be the only asset you're offering that would be more valuable than one of Philly's 1st rounders. Hemsky? No. The other two firsts from Edmonton would most likely be less valuable as well once edmontons blueline is loaded up with Shea weber.

That was before Nashville paid weber out 25 million dollars as well.

The offer is just poor. Plain and simple. Taylor hall, klefbom, paarjavi, and the two firsts would start a conversation.

Hemsky sucks. Keep him noone wants him. Klefbom is overrated. To get Shea Weber, Nashville will ask for eberle, hall, RNH, or Yakupov. Without one of them, it is no deal. Homerism at it its finest. And yes, Gardiner is better than Klefbom any day of the week.

Sorry man, this is exactly why you are posting this crap. Before reading your blog, I knew that somehow you would make some ridiculous offer without giving up one of the big 5.

I hope management doesn't shut this down. This is extremely interesting to read. I don't mind if most people see this as a terrible deal with no possibility of happening. I disagree with them. It's all good.

Maybe Montreal shouldn't buy out Gomez, I am sure that Nashville would take him with a prospect not named Galchenyuk and 2 first rounders

I think Edmonton could get Malkin and Crosby as well as Lundqvist in a 3 team deal if Horcoff, Smyth and Belanger plus two 4th round picks are thrown into the equation!

They are.

They won't be traded, and neither will Weber.

Oilers are ranked 3rd in the league anyways so we don't need him!
