You're completely delusional. Only way to explain why you think he's a 'superstar prospect'.

a pretty decent prospect for the avs.
maybe it's because of klefboms season ending injury/surgery, but no way in hell most of those guys on dobbers list should be ahead of him. that list is ludicrous.
and obviously that trade proposal by clouts is ridiculous, but fact remains klefbom is a hell of a prospect.
big, 2 way guy guy that can skate. and has been playing against pros for 2 years.
he won defencemen of the tourney in last years wjc's. and was playing on the top pairing for a pretty good SEL team this season before he go injured.
no homer |

You're High!!
Why would Nashville match Philly just to trade Weber?
This blog makes me laugh, and compared to all the folks over at oilerhockey.com your living proof that...it's better to be quiet and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. |

hes a total homer.
but to single him out and not mention engels, garth or esplen as just as brutal homers is laughable - hugefemale dog77

You know, I've gotten used to the complete homer nature of trade proposals, but can we at least get a little research before this nonsense gets posted, to check if the numbers are factual and the trade proposed could happen according to league rules?
Weber can't be traded for one full year after a matched RFA contract. Which means until after the 2013 draft. Which means he can't be traded for a pick in that draft.
Weber is due 68 million in signing bonus's over the first 6 years of the deal. 13 million already was paid. 13 million of that will be paid by July 1 of 2013, which is prior to when he can be traded. Meaning he be owed 42 million over 4 years of signing bonus by a team to trade for him. Plenty of teams would be able to afford that, considering the low salary that matches the bonus.
Weber will be paid 13 million in signing bonus July 1. He will be paid 1 million in salary next season. There is no reason Nashville will trade him after paying 13/14ths of his pay due for next season. They would wait until the following summer, or minimum trade deadline. |

imo, he is.
clouts has been called out so many times, i think his homerism has softened abit. plus hes pretty honest about just doing some things for hits.
esplen on the other hand, truly believes the stuff he writes about any player in the canuck system. i shake my head at his thoughts on some of their prospects |

Ok, I'm really having trouble figuring out if you guys are serious or not now.
He's an offensive d-man that needs to work on the defensive side of things. And has a total of 7 points in 3 seasons. This is on a team in which Rickard (frank)ing Wallin has 26 points this season. |

WOW! Is this trade proposal bad.
20 other teams can do better than that!
Hemsky has "0" value, Klefbom is a good prospect, currently ranked 29th best prospect by hockeysfuture.com for 2012/13 and not even in the top 10 for dman. The 2 first round picks would be useless to Nashville as they would most likely be outside the top 15 or 20.
Nashville is not in a rebuilding mode! They are solid and with one of the best 3 goalies and dman in the league they are in good shape to compete for years, with cap space available going forward I can only see Nashville adding not subtracting. - TML93
So in the off season Nashville losing a player who got a 98 million dollar deal, for absolutely nothing (probably a good player to get that contract), also the best player in the KHL (2011, 2010) and they are adding ... How? Who did they add? I don't understand your post. Didn't they lose the tits brothers also? Kostytsin's or however you spell it. I think they also traded Linback for draft picks. So how is that NOT rebuilding mode? Enlighten me, PLEASE!!! |

One of the most ridiculous trade theories I've ever heard. Do you really think the Preds would even think about listening to the Oilers unless they were willing to offer up at least one of their young superstars (i.e. Hall, Ebs, Nuge, or Yak)? Webber is arguably the best defensman in the league.... come on, give you head a shake. |

first,
stop lumping oiler posters in with our blogger. no one thinks that trade is feasible.
klefbom got no minutes on farjestad in past seasons. they were an elite team. he was a kid
this year was the first year he got top pairing minutes, and then got injured and done for the season.
at the end of the day its all just conjecture as far as kids go. especially for defencemen. but considering his play at the wjc's (best defencemen on the gold medal winning team. im definetely a glass is half empty guy, but he was dominant..fact) and that hes been playing against men for multiple seasons, putting half those other guys ahead of him is laughable.
duncan siemens who couldnt make the top 7 on a bad team canada defence, ahead of a guy who woulda been (and already has) number 1/2 on a better swedish team??
how does this make sense?
its nothing more than friction of distance for some of these writers. |

link then. I dont ever recall hearing about his offensive prowess. and "two way" is a pretty broad term, and not always used correctly. It would be like calling Rielly a two-way guy. |

Shea Webber is ready to win now anyways, the oilers are like 20 years old average, why not just keep your Klefbom let him grow with the rest of the kids and enjoy your powerhouse team in 3 years |

Probably because Weber is a sure thing for the next bunch of years and Klefbom could very well take awhile before making the NHL. |
