What happened to all the space they had when they made the run for Weber?

The Flyers don't have to worry about the cap.

Do trhimngs once, its a trend.

Do this twice, its a habit.

Do things three times, its a routine.

Such is life in Pegulaville right now with the Ott-Grigorenko-Leino line combination..

Lindy Ruff created the power trio for the opening day of training camp, just to give it a look-see. Two monster practice sessions, and one robust scrimmage later, Ruff has got to feel like he's won the NYS Lottery because his brainstorm is coming to fruition and it is paying early dividends.

Hey, you never know whats going to happen when you crack some eggs and make some omelettes.

Three completely different hockey players, from three completely different backgrounds, blended together to create an intriguing melange of brute strength and deft skill. Its quite remarkable really.

Ott is the the Hell's Angel with the mischievous glimmer in his eye. He provides the sandpaper and the protection for his line mates with his swift skating style, his elbows, and his multi-linguistic approach to smack talk.

Heading into the training camp, Sabres fans were wondering what version of Ville Leino would answer the bell once the lockout recess had ended. Would the dagger-through-your-heart swashbuckler, vintage Philthydelphia emerge? Or, would it be meek and quiet Leino who was seen stumbling and bumbling to find his way to living up to his uber-sized contract.

Grigo is the classically trained virtuoso with the size, strength and skill to place him in a special breed of world-class echelon hockey players. He came into Buffalo's camp boasting of the leadership role on a Team Russia squad that spanked Canada for the bronze medal at the WJCs in Ufa, Russia. The kid torched The Q for 29 goals and 50 points in 30 games while with the Quebec Remparts.

Early returns are in and Lindy Ruff, as well as Sabres fans are impressed with teh 9-25-23 line.

Yeah my favourite is that teachers should have a loaded gun in the classroom. What could go wrong?
