And we think Flyers fans are tough...

This on the leafs forum..

I love Leaf fans though. If it's not this then it's expecting JVR to be the next Jarome Iginla.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Couts and Voracek matched up with the likes of Crosby/Malkin, Richards/Nash, Koval..oh wait. I seriously think that line will match up with most 1st lines.
- jak521

If they spent extensive time on the same line, it'd be cool to see Couts and Jake find their scoring touch together.

Excellent move giving Schenn the opportunity with Giroux and Hartnell. I suspect with the skill level of Schenn that he will blossom. Skilled guys need to play together. Jake can quarterback the powerplay and the Couturier line with Voracek on it will probably move up the ladder and take over line two. Either way it looks like three scoring lines and one pesky fourth line. Schenn can pass and score while Jake has trouble burying the biscuit. He seems to get robbed all the time because he shoots right into them instead of picking a corner. Just sayin

I have no problems with it, but I would personally prefer Voracek on the top line. I think Voracek could turn into a 30 goal scorer playing with Giroux.

A bit off topic, but does anyone have an extra ticket or two to the Thursday practice? Didn't have a chance to grab them before they were all gone. If anybody grabbed a few extra "just in case" and have 1-2 to move, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Voracek has always been the obvious choice to play on the top line but I think Schenn is gonna score the same way we saw Gagne do to for many years. You gotta let these two compete for that top spot at wing.

Like Gagne? You mean in sheer totals or are you basing their skills sets.

If Schenn starts producing like gagne did when he was with Knuble and Forsberg, this is gonna be a fun year. I jsut hope he stays helthy so we see what we really got.

Should help to have Giroux setting Schenn up. Although I have always thought Forsberg helped his totals in a season and a half, Gagne didn't need Forsberg's help to score. The 2010 playoff run should have taught us that by now and other important goals Gagne scored. Again, good point.

People are freaking out about the ticket prices. All increases were announced in January 2012 but people are claiming that the lowest priced tix ($48) don't exist and $80 is the minimum price. Flyers are saying that all the $48 tix are sold out already and that's the reason why you can't find them.

I really liked what I saw from Schenn in the highlights from some of his games in the A. he should be in shape, and if he brings that confidence to his game in the bigs, I can see some real chemisty. Giroux feeds Schenn who buries it.. sounds great to me.

if you looked at the single seats left for saturday's game earlier the back rows were $94, not 48

Hasn't Talbot been working with Coots and Voracek? I know Read has been getting work at Center. Think today I saw McGinn-Read-Simmonds practicing today. 4th line seems set with Rinaldo-Laughton-Rusty. I don't think Laughton is going anywhere.

I'd more like to know what they are doing to make nice to us fans who endured a lockout and are now spending money like mad? Thursday night practice followed by "we REALLY thank you" on the ice for a week? I can tell you what, my centre ice package is not free (although I thought that rumour made no sense).
