Well half of 48 is 24 & we know the Leafs won't play .500. So start with 24 & go lower. 20 seems a little high, 10 seems a little low. I'm thinking 18 but than the Leafs aren't playing weak teams in the West. So lower than 18, mabie.... 15.

You know what's never been discussed, if LU wants to go to Florida, don't the Lightning need a fricken goalie???? They should buy out Vinnie & get Lu. Florida has Jose, Scott & Jacob coming up in a few years. They are stacked in net.

Capitals 1-2

Hurricanes 1-2
Devils 1-2

Thats like 14 wins but I am sure a couple of those wins will probably be overtime losses. I couldn't remember the rest of the east teams either but those are most of the teams the leafs have trouble with every year.

Yeah Leafs ALWAYS have trouble with al Eastern teams, even with the Isles & Canes. Leafs get alot of their wins from some weaker Western teams. Leafs won't have that luxury this season.

I agree with your thinking except for Montreal. Habs have more character and are a
lot tougher this year.
