Better than having the suicide rate go up. Leaf fans are stuck in this shell with no one to discuss with because they all know the truth. They don't have hope or something to be happy about. You guys view the riots as a bad thing, I personally thought it was a time of happiness when all canucks come together to celebrate 40+ years of their existence and how happy they are with a playoff team every year. Please dont lump me into the same bracket as everyone else. If I knew I was not going to win the cup I would rather finish last and the 1st overall pick ala Pitt. The only reason they are this good is because they were last or 2nd last 4 years in a row. (cros, Malkin, Fleury, Staal). Now for the next 10 years they will be amazing.
So if the choice was to finish last or LOSE 100% in the final then I will always take last. Cause eventually you will be a stud team.
