This whole draft should be spent drafting centers. We've got enough defense and a logjam in net anyways.
If a winger is far and away better than the available center, fine, go with him. - Feeling Glucky?

"While the daily fixation continues regarding a certain Vancouver backup goaltender who for this column shall remain nameless" THANK YOU.
And I'd love Benn. |

I will not believe Nonis is going to trade our 1st this year. In a 48 game Schedule? This is the easiest year to hold onto it, and they know how much there is in the 1st round, we have to be apart of it. |

Exactly. At least with Burke out of the picture (for the most part anyway) it is less likely the Leafs would draft Seth Jones ... assuming that they'll be drafting in the top five or so. |

I'm not against trading if it's for the right player...Luo is not that player.. |

well, BPA with a top pick is a good idea. Odds are Jones won't be there past #2, and everyone else up there is a center. |

The one thing that most people seem to overlook when considering whether or not their club should acquire said Vancouver backup goalie, is the benefit the young goalies in their system would receive from playing behind hime for a few seasons. Ask Cory Schneider how much he benefited from watching un-named goaltender day in and day out for two seasons. James Reimer would be a much better goalie 3 years from now with said goaltender, than without him. - Jimka44
So it would be a wise move to have Luongo mentor Reimer for two years, and then when Reimer is ready to become the starter, have Lu back him up (at a cap hit of $5.333 million) for the next eight years?
Sounds like a good plan to me. |

He//'s scared that Reimer let in a goal to Orr.
Orr has dropped 20 pounds and is a new man. |

So Phoenix is looking for secondary scoring.
Grabo for a 1st?
Grabo and MacArthur for a 1st, 2nd ,3rd?
They don't even have to worry about re-signing them. |

If we drafted Seth Jones I would ensure that my suicide note implicated Nonis fully. |

I still think that the only way I want to see Luo on this roster is after a buyout. I'd be happier taking him on a 4 year contract if possible, then we wouldn't have to give up poop. |
