Luongo is sh1t in the playoffs, and his contract is bat-sh1t crazy... I'd probably bash my brains in if the Oilers traded Dubnyk for him.

if Steve tambellini makes a trade for luongo and gives the Canucks anything but Horcoff , Souray, peckham and khabibulin in return consider Brian Burke's new gm job in Edmonton. luongo has the same attitude as Souray she pouts when shes not the number one star fans are sick of the very shy Kevin low and Steve tambellini sitting on there asses making 4 trades a year and pretending its the hardest job in the world but the Oilers do this all the time if luongo does agree to come to Edmonton they will end up giving Vancouver the farm ,the new rink and even the life time supply of chap stick for Shawn Horcoffs agent .Oiler fans are sick of watching this team loose there not only going fight for a playoff spot but be in the playoffs or i can see Katz cleaning house in the management lets don't kid or selves here Katz wants a rink and to get his rink he needs the WHOLE city on the Oilers band wagon and we all know a 4 game winning streak makes the front page of the Edmonton sun , has every news caster and radio personality talking about it all day long i just don't see it happening with luongo

Souray? This was difficult to read.

Why not?

Realistically: Where does he fit in long-term, or even short term plans?

Long term projected blue-line.....

J.Scultz-Smid
Petry-Klefbom
Marincin/Gernat/Musil-???

So yeah, they could try and acquire him. I literally would give up almost nothing to get him though. Being he is a former 1st round pick and a 4th overall at that, Kings aren't letting him go for what he's really worth. If for nothing else, just to not make the pick look like a wasted one.

There's way better "sell-low" defensive options out there with untapped potential. Keaton Ellerby, Colby Robak, TJ Brennan, Shawn Lalonde, David Savard, every single Minnesota Wild dman not on the active roster, etc. Guys that won't cost a ton and will more then likely give you a solid if not spectacular return on your investment with a change of scenery.

If that doesn't work, "Sam Gagner" will get him sniffing around.

Don't forget Cody Hodgson, but strangely he's been off that train since the trade.

And when nobody claims him, I will have proved my point

edit: Unless the Red Wings claim him out of shear desperation and turn him into Lidstrom 2.0, which is for whatever reason probably somewhat realistic.

I didn't say i wanted him, just sayin that he's free to pick up

If we got him,I doubt he would make it out of OKC unless there was mass injuries.

A student loans office in Quebec had a hard drive stolen with 583,000 of borrowers information on it including names, dates of birth, social insurance numbers, and contact information. Here is a toll free number to call and see if you have been affected 1-866-885-1866

Why would Edmonton buy out a player that is on his second team since leaving Alberta?

7 years of a shaky luongo... No thanks. Even in the Olympics, he was less then stellar.. He's lucky canada had all world talent in front of him. Basic shots were hard to watch. I want to see what dubey has, so I say stick with him.

Edmonton bought him out... he still carries a cap hit of 1.5 million for this season.
