Hearing Nazem Kadri is a guy Vancouver likes a lot. Leafs are high on him, likely don't want to move him at this point

^^ good keep him Leafs - you've put too much into him to let him go now. Might as well ride it out and give him some real minutes - see what happens.

I do. He showed he can play on the Marlies.

He sure did.

Prove he can play on the Marlies.

Reimer might regain his form now that he is healthy and Carlyle might have some motivational skills. unlike that slug Wilson

Here's hoping.

I have Kessel going 50 in 48, anyone want in on this action?

Technically speaking, Cherry liked Lammy Bahamas.

Oh, he meant goals? I thought he was talking about the number of times he gets sat for not back checking.

Lesson be learned; the Leafs got him from the Canucks.

Leafs don't have a good history with former Canucks. Gary Valk, Jyrki Lumme and Robert Reichel come to mind immediately.

I think Alex Mogilny is the only exception in the last 20 years off the top of my head.

I don't see Frattin on the 4th line...

And where is Kadri?

I bet you he scores 23 goals and somebody starts a "pro-rating over 82 games" argument.

Guaranteed.

In all seriousness, i think Carlyle will get Kessel into form. As he matures as a player, he's hopefully going to realize how to better himself defensively. Or nothing will change at all this year and he will be caught floating around our blue line. *Shrugs*

Absolutely no chance Lombardi plays 3rd line center while Steckel and/or Connolly are benched.

Lombardi shouldn't even be on the team, much less the 3rd line center of what is suppose to be a defensive hockey team.

Zero chance Komarov is a 3rd liner too. He's a 4th liner at best right now.

He always starts out on fire... It's getting him to play a full consistent season that seems to be the issue.

I think he's just one of those guys who goes as the leafs go, not the other way around
