Jochen is well worth the 1mill for veteran centerman for some quality depth in the 'sprint to the cup'. All teams will need depth to deal with what I believe will be an unusal amount of injuries this season because of playing 48 games in 96 days.

Look at the difference in Roster. The Kings are far more physical and far more talented than BUF.

Almost the entire Kings roster is willing to stick up for themself. That cant be said here. So yes I think Westgarth would be better suited for a 4th line here than John Scott.

Zenon Konopka for a 4th liner would have been better. I can continue with names if you would like.

The problem is is that Lindy thinks Hecht is a 1C.... And you will see him there probably in the 2nd period of the first game.
I agree that 1 million is a decent price for him.

You can basically pencil the guy in for 15 goals in an 82 game schedule. He brings a ton of value to a team. It would be nice if he was adding value to a team that only needed value. We need superstars. But none the less I'm still optimistic for the season.

but at 925k... who knows. I like him more than Scott too but I think Scott is a better fighter.

Not saying he's a terrible player. His act is old. I'd rather see a younger guy brought up/in that will bust his ass every shift (too bad Tropp is hurt) or a better FA pickup but its too late for that now.

I feel bad for saying this but I don't have any interest in watching the Sabres this season.

I'm excited for my fantasy draft and to watch the league in general but the Sabres just feel so blah to me.

Maybe this will change on Sunday but I don't know. Anyone else feeling like this or just me?

Liking this kid more and more since I seen him in developmental camp.

Big kid too at 6'4" 211
