Miller was at practice every day with the LA Kings team basically doing drills, defending shots, and doing scrimmages. Just like Biron was with the Sabres every day.

unless miller stood on his head, no chance of them winning game 7 and I did not expect a win once the flyers scored in ot of game 6

Yea when they won game 6, I think the general consensus was the series was over. It was way too predictable

Yup... that is why fans watch.. coaches coach.. and players play. There is basically only one team that is happy with their coaching staff at the end of a season.

I don't know a ton about the Red Wings roster... but...

I would trade Miller with 1.5 years remaining for Jimmy Howard+ or for Hiller+ from Anaheim. Cheaper.. longer.. and has shown equal skill. All of them have their criticisms.

Season ticket cap at 15,600 I think is to leave opposing team fans tickets at the door and the casual fan. If there was no cap there would be no tickets to be had.

Just saying. All that stuff you mention is the same in about a half dozen other US markets. Using your measurements pittsburgh is a better "hockey town". Longer wait list, longer sellout streak, higher retention through the lockout. Not saying pittsburgh is better. Just showing that your logic is flawed and that buffalo isn't unique in their eagerness to buy tickets for the short season.
