1) racism. It isn\'t a nice thing to admit, but I believe people are less tolerant of a young black man behaving badly in a white-man-dominated sport.

2) age. People are less tolerant of a young player behaving badly.

Sidney Crosby has received far more negative press for his whining and attitude.

I love when we play against subban. He is easy to get off his game.

Subban is like playing EASHL with a defenseman who refuses to pass the puck or play defense... so you just wind up shooting on ur own goalie..

yeah agreed on both accounts, and they do the same thing to Russians too, you only get one chance if you're Russian after that they have the same opinion of you for the rest of your career, (like those who still think Kovalchuk sucks at d) i have a feeling with Yakupov's style and dont care what i say demeanor that he's gonna receive just as much hate sooner than later as for Subban i think he's fine with being the Kevin Garnett of the NHL too
