Probably. But, these are really different situations. Benn probably deserves bigger money and a better contract than Subban or what Dallas is prepared to offer right now. I think this is like the Turris situation from last year. Except, in a short season it has to get settled in the next few weeks.

Maybe Dallas does do a deal for Benn. If they do they will want more than Subban.
