McIntyre is the (frank)ing heavyweight champ, I'm pumped to have him.

Toronto should do that deal in a second, b/c Kadri is another overrated leafs prospect (overrated in many ways because he is a leafs prospect) and the other two are nothing any team can't acquire with moderate effort. if that is really the proposal from Gillis, Nonis should jump at it...it's a pittance for a proven #1 who will raise the prospects of mediocre team.

He won't do anything. His only job is to fight other super heavies.

That's it.

He sucks at everything else. Maybe he will fight John Scott one day.

I like watching super heavies fight, and Mac is the champ.

Windows 95 is notorious for bugs.

You may want to get a c: prompt and enter it using dos.

Sooo we could give up prospects, set the team back even more for a middle aged goalie which would take us out of the running for another solid prospect like Mckinnon or Jones possibly at the end of a short season.

Sounds like a grrrrrrrrrreat idea.

Tank it. I can handle one more year, especially considering it's only 48 games long.

But...but...but...Luongo would act as a mentor to all the young Leafs who want to grease bsck their hair like douchebags.

We haven't had a guy like that since Travis Green.

I can't wait to see UG's reaction when Nonis acquires Luongo.

Burke biggest critic will be crying that Burke shouldnt of been fired for not wanting to pay the price for Lu.

It's funny, everybody wants to remember the time we acquired a veteran Belfour or a veteran Joseph and what great runs we had. Yes I agree, those were some fun playoff runs but that was during an era where you could cover up your terrible drafting and talent pool by throwing absorbent amounts of money around. Salary cap era, can't do that anymore. So this is why this time is different.

Owners are too stupid to realize that but Burke and hopefully Nonis does. God am i crossing my fingers Nonis does...... These 5 years of Burke have to mean something and giving away all of Burke's hard work and prospects for middle age players would put an end to me cheering for the leafs.

Except that's not why he got fired.

But who cares about the truth right? Fiction is just as valid.

i know mac. when he tested earlier in the year, his power was up huge. pittsburgh organization was really impressed with his summer. his defensive play is coming along way, and he's starting to bring some other intangibles.

they've heard the rumours, won't know anything til lunch tomorrow either. not an impact player by any stretch.. but he has alot of friends in toronto. would be a great fit in the room.

they did mention that scott gordon was the guy who was responsible for bringing him to boston. they've always had a great relationship with him.

Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger both say Burke got fired because of his style and attitude and yet you still cling to fiction.

You've done remarkably well to bring your intelligence down to Canucks fans level.

Maybe even lower.
