Man, Kostka looks good enough to stay full-time, IMO.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Hamilton make the Leafs. Not sure who he'd replace. Maybe if there was a trade, with a guy like MacA leaving.

Luongo + Raymond for Gunnnarsson, Bozak, MacArthur + Kadri.

Kadri plays his best at center... I'd look at something like this(barring trades)

Gardiner(Rielly for 9)-Gunnar(Gardiner needs a strong defensive partner more than Phaneuf, IMO)

I couldn't agree with the offensive lines more.

It drove me NUTS how Wilson never even tried Grabo with Kessel. Never. I can't remember a single game they played togehter and Inever miss a game.

Also, love Kadri in the middle on the 3rd and I completely agree with the format of using your 2nd line to up against the ohter teams #1 line and using your 3rd as secondary scoring. Use the 4th as a checking line, if the 4th isn't a good checking line then why bother having it?

Franson will probably earn a regular spot past Rielly's first 5 games...also, any chance the Leafs give Komisarek the Gomez/Redden treatment if other dmen like Kostka step up? A real shame they couldn't convince Ranger to give the NHL a try this season, but good on him for trying to finish a good thing and look to next season.

For the same reason I don't think Burke should have been fired, I don't think Nonis should make any moves just yet.

Reimer struggled with injuries last season, Wilson's been replaced, and we've added JVR.

Those are 3 factors that could make a huge difference for the team.

Kadri was between Mac and Kulemin today. I like that ..it gives him a couple of good 2-way wingers to protect him. I'd let Bozak and Connolly battle for the right to play with Lupul and Kessel and Grabo can play between Frattin and JVR.

The defence blows ....Gunnar and Phaneuf are going to get 30 minutes a night early on.
