Actually, it's the opposite. The worse the Leafs do, the more they feel they need to shake things up and get a goalie. The better the Leafs do, the less they feel they need something.

Either way, it shouldn't matter. If they are 0-10 or 10-0, Luongo should either rot in Vancouver or end up somewhere else. Just doesn't make sense. Not even for free.

My belief that Burke should/will get an extension was just an opinion.

Luongo being traded to Toronto isn't my opinion. It's what is being reported by virtually every credible hockey analyst on this planet.

Yep all non-playoff teams...But the lower a team finishes greatly increases there chances of drafting high(Top 5)..
