yeah, it's the age thing. He's already been there so long he has to clear. That being said, I don't think it would be entirely terrible if he got claimed. I like him and I think he's been great for the franchise, but we've got 2 young guys that could use the time too. I would be a little disappointed since he's from Williamsville and everything, but it would be giving him a chance at something more and would open up some space for the rest of the guys we have.

I for one hope John Scott dresses for every game against the Penguins and I think 28 other teams feel the same way.
