As I see it, this lineup will finish anywhere between 7 and 13. It really just depends on how Hodgson and Ennis handle top dog duties and how Miller plays.

I can see them anywhere from 8-10. If they can avoid injuries, they could make it. It's a crap shot really with a 48 game season.

There's no way that the team breaks camp with all of these defensemen still in the system, right?

Injuries are going to be absolutely devastating to teams this year and unfortunately, with a week of camp before the season starts and no preseason games, I think we'll see a lot of guys getting hurt across the league.

I would expect it to be honest. They may try and sneak one of them through waivers, but if they do I would think it's probably someone like Pardy. I don't see them risking it with Brennan. Not with the way he's played this season. He's got a huge target on his back right now.

I think given the dynamic of the shortened season any team is succetible to missing the playoffs this year. One bad stretch/ one big injury is all it will take.

If Miller plays at a high level for the majority of his starts and special teams are in the top 10, I can see this team winning the division

I can also see them 12th in the east

I disagree. Everyone else here just said how injuries can play a big part for any team because of the shortened season. With the way we suffered through injuries last year, I doubt they risk it and will carry the extra Dmen into the season.

You will see one team make a panic move by game 10-12.

Detroit , Edmonton and Philadelphia in need of defensive help.

Look for one of those 3 to dance with Darcy if the price is right.

Vancouver just signed Cam Barker and they also have 8 D so it might be what GM's are looking at for this short season. Depth at key positions will be a must.

Unless the deal would fill a major void for us, I don't see Darcy doing anything in the immediate future. This is the roster they are going to go into battle with. Like it or not.

Pardy goes to Rochester or Sekera gets traded

those are the only moves I expect to be in play as it appears TJ will stay with the big club
