If anything, they play him in the first week or 2 of games to show teams that they mean business. I see them backing off on dressing him after that though.

it's really just a tactical move by the team. I don't disagree with it, I just don't think he'll make the "impact" that some think he will.

If people cannot see why Scott is around that's just foolish whether you like him or not that's another story, he's here to make sure nothing happens like it did in Boston that night, that was embarassing to see how we reacted to that situation and the sabres realized that which is why Scott was brought in.

Bruins won a Cup with excellent goaltending and the rough and tumble in your face game.

The Sabres are simply trying to mimic that. I have no problem with this team getting tougher.

I was embarrassed for this team and its players after the Lucic incident.

That will not happen any longer. I see what Darcy is doing , a nice blend is beginning to develop here of grit and sandpaper with a dash of thuggery and some high end and better than average talent!

I was originally planning a road trip in March for the Florida games. Then the lockout happened. Those games actually haven't changed, but my plans have because it didn't look like this thing was going to end. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Scott is big but not much of a fighter. Thornton or Lucic would match up easily.Even Horton would go at him. Chara would dummy him.

Not that any of them would. They can all actually play. Scott is useless.
