As it should be. No fan should ever brag about a teams accomplishments that occurred before they were born. If you couldn't celebrate it, act like it didn't happen in most circumstances. Yes, they are a part of the history of the club, but you cannot brag if you didn't witness it.

If people cannot see why Scott is around that's just foolish whether you like him or not that's another story, he's here to make sure nothing happens like it did in Boston that night, that was embarassing to see how we reacted to that situation and the sabres realized that which is why Scott was brought in.

either way, I think it's safe to say Miller has no legit excuses for this upcoming season

he plays every division game

as much as there have been some great playoff games this weekend, I can't wait until hockey starts next week.

Just got a text from a buddy getting tickets for Cap/Sabres on the 27th. Maybe I can meet up with KF.

I don't see them needing him to suit up against Montreal. Or even Ottawa. The rest of the team can handle anyone on those two squads.

I can see why he's around. It's a boost to the club mentally. He's a security blanket. He makes them feel like they don't have to be worried about being pushed around.


That being said, his on ice play is not going to be anything to really even discuss because he'll get about 2 mins of ice when he does dress and I don't think it will be more than 10 games.

Ottawa possibly. Depends on their lineup. They have a few guys that could be an issue but generally haven't been. Other than Neil. And I think Ott could handle that.
