- mrpaulish

I think its 2/7 in phoenix or something like that (off the top of my head). His suspension will be over by then.

That would be perfect

That was a vicious act of violence perpetrated by Mann, but for cheap shot artists like Torres, it would be righteous justice.

No doubt.

My #1 hope for this year is to have Raffi Torres killed by Bolig or Shaw or Carcillo or Brookbank .

After that rage subsides ID obviously like to see the Hawks get competent on the PP again so they can win in the play offs.

+1 on killing torres

I think the better candidate to handle the job is Bollig -- a few inches taller and about 20 lbs heavier than Carbomb. I also think he's more up to the task.

Torres will Turtle if Bollig comes within 50 ft. of him

Nothing to lose by trying him there. He's done everything that's been asked of him (and more) in a primarily defensive role, time to throw him an offensive bone and see what he does with it. If it doesn't work out, then he goes back to 3C and/or eventually gets traded.

I dont know how this line succeeds with noone big enough to go into the boards to win a puck battle

Thats why it has to be a wave of attackers. the 1st 3 times that POS is on the ice. Mayers , Boilig , Shaw, Carcillo , Seabrook, Toews, whoever , shouldn't even attempt to play hockey . Kill Raffi Torres. There is no room for a player like him in the game.

Biz'Nasty might have something to say about that

Interesting thing to me about Bollig is...he sets up like a righty, but loves to pull guys in tight and feed them southie uppercuts as Jordin Tootoo found out all too well. And that was AWESOME btw.

Never played with a cheap shot artist like torres but I would not come to his defense and let him answer for his actions
I also hold Doan responsible as the captain for allowing this behavior to go on
Doan should also get his as$ kicked

So you want opposing teams to target Tazer for questionable hits by Carcillo?

Captains do set the tone for the team but your comment has merit

Just saying, Doan has a reputation as a class act. Plays tough but clean. Torres has a dirty rep going way back as we've seen in years past. Who knows what was said to Torres in the locker room about his hit on Hossa.

Let's be honest guys like Toews and Doan want the game to played the right way, but more than anything they want to win and dirty as it was the Torres hit helped the Coyotes. I guarantee Doan has zero problem with it

Tough, yes. Clean....Debatable. He toes the line frequently, and gets in his fair share of cheap shots. I would not call him "classy" by any stretch.

Well, I can't speak for Doan or Toews, but there has been a lot said by Crosby, Toews about respecting other players and not taking cheap shots with them. With all the concussions occurring, the players had better show more respect or their careers could be over shortly.

Totally fair point. I guess it is just my opinion that when push comes to shove these guys choose winning over everything, even dirty teammates

Everybody makes a questionable hit sometimes. I consider Hossa a class act, and he took that 5 minute boarding major against Nash in the playoffs in 2010. I'm just saying target the Torres. He's the responsible party.

Final 3 Bears' HC candidates are

Bruce Arians, Darrell Bevell and Marc Trestman...according chicagosports.com

Personally, i really like Arians, but wonder about his recent health scare.

Ha ha Crosby... The same Crosby that was intentionally hacking at giroux's injured wrists last year in the playoffs?

It could be argued that Bolland's return in Game 4 of the 2011 playoffs was the turning point that helped us rally to tie that series. If that point is accepted, Bolland wasn't not simply a one year playoff wonder.

I agree with Ogie...always liked Bolland. Just don't like his penchant for brain fart penalties. Other than that, he's aces.

- philco28

I think two players were the reason for the big turnaround: Bolland coming back and pissing off the Sedin's and putting up the offense Was a huge reason and so was a pissed-off Keith. He was amazing that game
