Switch Mac and Kuli, Kuli is more physical and defensively sound. Definitely better for third line role than Mac

i dont necessarily agree

til the leafs, mac was a 3rd liner everywhere else he played. and, if kuli has found his scoring touch again (as his stats in the KHL seem to suggest) we're going to want him in the top 6

and with JVR and kuli playing on grabo's wings it would make a big strong second line with scoring ability

i also wonder if JVR is de facto top 6 as well.. did he play on the 3rd line alot in philly? (yes i know there was a depth issue there)

i guess which kuli shows up to camp will make a big difference

That's definitely comforting but I really think we need to play the youngsters, particularly Kadri.

I liked your top six with Kuli on the 2nd line but I really think we should move Mcclement to the 4th line and let Kadri center the 3rd. I feel like it's poop or get off the pot time with Kadri. Sure you can't rush young players and need to season them in the minors but Kadri is approaching over cooked

He's fast, shifty, and would fit into Vancouver's style of play. He's also not 'young', and we have a logjam of 3rd liners.

I'm not a huge Kadri fan and I think he's better suited to 2nd line winger ...maybe next fall when Mac is gone ....but if they decided to keep him up and give him a long look I wouldn't hate him centring a 3rd scoring line with Mac and Kule (both good in their own end). That would protect him a little bit and they could let him take PP's with Kessel and Lupul too. Let Grabo centre Frattin and JVR and push McLement to the 4th line ...and Steckel out of the lineup. Not bad ...
