Would anyone have a problem if it was Colborne as the primary forward to go to VAN in a Luongo deal?
I personally still think Joe has the potential, and the fact he was injured last year exaplins his points drop off.
The reason I say so if because it would be a shame if the Leafs were finally patient with a guy like Kadri, only to see him leave just as he's coming into form.

Either way, if we are serious about attracting UFAs to Toronto this off season, we need to have the foundation pillars, such as a legit no. 1, to convince guys like Getzlaf and Perry to commit the prime years of their careers to this market.
One thing I think is an advantage is the fact that these guys already knocked winning a cup off their bucket lists. If they hadn't won already then the chances of winning one would way heavily on where they'd decide to go |

I was going to say thanks to whoever deleted the doubles and the original, the idea that Simmons was proven right about something is too trippy for me right now |

I just realized I contradicted myself, meant to have Mac as another piece in that, just using Bozak because that's been one of the more commonly rumored names |

So you're basically implying that we should have to take a 10 year contract, without giving back even so much as one turd for one more year?
We already gave up Schenn in the off season, and Gardiner's not starting the season, so if you think Gunnarsson or Franson is coming your way, you're dreaming |
